"As we near the end of our current service arrangement, I wanted to send along a note regarding the relationship we have enjoyed with Gamble over the last 11 years, and in particular with Piper Pelley over the last 6 1/2 years. As you know, we have sold our Kiawah home and plan to build a new one there sometime in the future. For the last 11 years, at both our villa in Turtle Point and our home on Bluebill, we have been highly satisfied customers of Gamble Home Services. Over those years, we have had the opportunity to work with several of your folks, but none longer than Piper. As I know you understand, owning a second home almost 600 miles from one's primary residence can be challenging and daunting. There is a lot of responsibility that a property owner has, so from the beginning, we knew we needed some help. Gamble has done a great job for us over the years and has given us comfort that our Kiawah home is in good hands and we truly appreciate that.

Piper has been such a pleasure to work with. She is always easily reached; even if she is out on calls, I always get quick responses from her to any calls I place to the Gamble office. She resolves problems or issues that arise expeditiously (and we have had many over the years) and always follows up to let me know that everything has been taken care of. I think anyone who knows Piper also knows that she takes her role very seriously and that she provides outstanding service. Even if she does not have an answer to a particular question, she consistently follows through and gets an answer as quickly as possible. I have always felt that our home is in good hands under Piper's watch. From speaking with you, I know that you recognize what a valuable member of your team Piper is. In your business, much of your success is based on relationships that your representatives develop with your customers. If all of your reps are as dedicated, skilled and pleasant to deal with as Piper, you are assured success for many years to come.

"I switched to Gamble after several years with a small local home maintenance provider who was pleasant to deal with but did not have the resources to carry through on all areas of service. I have been very pleased with Gamble on multiple counts:

  1. We get a regular walk through on the house. It is done consistently, is very thorough, and is well documented. So I have confidence that any problems are going to be spotted and addressed quickly, even if we are away for an extended period of time.
  2. We have done a number of small and moderate sized projects to maintain and improve our property. The work was professional, on time, and did not disrupt our enjoyment of the house. It was so easy to deal with Gamble to get this work done - a phone call or e-mail or once in a while a brief meeting when we were at the house. That's all it took. Gamble's rep took the assignment from there and got the work done. When we got back to Kiawah, we had a completed project and a clean house. What a pleasure.
  3. Communication is excellent. Chasing a service provider with multiple phone calls and voice mail messages is not fun. Our Gamble representative has been accessible and responsive, always. We correspond easily and often by e-mail and use the phone occasionally as appropriate. It works and it works well.
  4. Gamble is flexible. Some services we contract for directly, sometimes we go through Gamble. They work with us either way, and if we need interaction with a service provider we hired, Gamble takes care of it as if it was their own.

This is a firm that really understands how to run a service business.
